JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur offers online modular courses

While most of the organizations have put a hold or postponed the joining of freshers owing to the current coronavirus pandemic, leading educational institute JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) has come to the rescue of such workforces. The institute has unveiled online three-six months of modular courses in MBA and Engineering to learn the additional skills in their respective domains.

The USP of these courses is one that can resume his/her master's degree from the advanced level after the successful completion having early exit options with the certificate and advanced certificate after 3 months and 6 months respectively.

In MBA the courses include - Certificate in Business Management, Advanced Certificate in Business Management, and Advanced Diploma in Business Management, whereas in M Des they are offering Design Thinking for Innovation, Design Foundation, and PgD in Integrated Design. Similarly, at M Tech, they have a Certificate in AI & ML, Advanced Certificate in AI & ML, PgD in AI & ML.

“Coronavirus Pandemic has changed the education landscape of not only in our country but also globally. As the economy is badly affected because of the pandemic, many organizations have either put on hold or postponed their recruitment process, and this move has put the future of many final year students in jeopardy. So, to bring hope and strengthen the skills of such students, JKLU has decided to launch few short-term courses in Engineering, Design, and MBA. One can pursue these certification courses to gain extra knowledge and can also resume his/her master's degree from the advanced level, after the successful completion of 3-6 months of certification. Moreover, the additional skills in the respective domain will help him/her to reach the advanced level of the course and can be fruitful for him in getting jobs,” said Dr. RL Raina- Vice-Chancellor, JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur.

Universities across India has closed down class teaching and are running online seminars and tutorials because of the coronavirus pandemic. Many universities are also planning to replace traditional exams with online assessments. The shift to online learning is also an adjustment for lecturers. Many faculty members are working hard to come up with innovative ways to keep students engaged online.
