Amity University Haryana to organize AICTE sponsored FDP from 5th to 9th July on Indian Heritage Management
Heritage Management is a large multidisciplinary subject of research and a creative area of study that is quickly growing in India. With millennia of history, India has a diversified and rich architectural heritage. Each part of our subcontinent has magnificent architecture and archaeology. To explain about Indian Heritage Management, Amity School of Hospitality, Amity University Haryana convening a panel of eminent social scientists, experts in heritage management, researchers and academicians to ponder over ideas for Indian Heritage Management. The programme will train 200 faculties from around the country on various topics of Indian Heritage Management.
The deliberations of the experts comprise the latest developments in Heritage Management from Digital intervention to the Future of Heritage management in India. The discussions of the community are organised in the form of an online faculty development programme (FDP) with assistance and guidance from the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The Faculty Development Programme, sponsored by AICTE Training and learning Academy (ATAL) is scheduled to begin from 5th July 2021.This 5-day online training Programme is completely free for the participants.
Dr. Ruchika Kulshrestha, a faculty member at Amity School of Hospitality, Amity University Haryana is the organizing secretary and coordinator of this AICTE Training and learning Academy (ATAL) sponsored FDP.
For deliberations, prominence is given to the emerging areas in Indian heritage,Event Heritage, Community participation ,Future of heritage Management . The subjects of discussion include. Heritage Management Industry, Heritage Conservation, preservation and sustainability, Modern Heritage Management, Methodologies of Heritage Management, Heritage Walks, Interpreting the Information in Heritage (Storytelling Session), Sustainable Heritage Management.
Further, there will be sessions on stress management by Prof. Padmakali Banarjee, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Haryana. A plan for the FDP has been chalked out under the guidance of Prof Arunangshu Bhattacharya, the Deputy Director of Amity School of Hospitality, Amity University Haryana.The programme will be conducted under the leadership of Prof. P.B.Sharma ,Vice Chancellor, Amity University Haryana and Prof. Padmakali Banarje, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Haryana.
The invited speakers will give their thoughts on Indian Heritage Management and will try to motivate the audience to understand the importance of Heritage for present and future.
