There are also 33 types of reptiles, 7 types of amphibians, 7 types of fish, and 36 types of dragonflies. Leopards can be found in lowland jungles as well as in mountainous locations. The jungle cat, the fishing cat, and the leopard cat are some of the park's smaller cats. Animals such as the Himalayan black bear, the sloth, the otters, the otters of the Himalayan Goral and the langur/rhesus macaques are also there. During the night, owls and nightjars can be heard. Indian elephants gather in large groups during the summer months. A chital deer can be killed by the Indian python located in the reserve.  Released their crocodile offspring into the Rāmgangā River.
