Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), an institute of excellence in the field of management and technical education, held the convocation ceremony for the 2009-11 batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and 2008-11 batch of Master of Computer Applications (MCA), at JIMS Campus, Rohini Sector 5.

The convocation procession was led by Mr. Manish Gupta (Chairman JIMS), followed by Prof. R. P. Maheshwari (Director General); Dr. J. K. Goyal (Director) & Dr. V. B. Aggarwal (Director-IT).

Mr J. P. Dua, CMD, Allahabad Bank was the chief guest for the occasion.

A total of 250 students, who successfully completed their PGDM and MCA programs, were awarded the diplomas and degrees by the chief guest and other dignities..

Mr. Dua congratulated the students and wished them best of luck by saying, “I congratulate all the students, who have received their degrees today. It is a big moment for you and you all should enjoy it thoroughly. But one thing that you should always remember is that you represent the nation as a whole, and the onus of taking this country forward is on your shoulders. Education is key to success and you have to make yourself responsible enough to do justice. Make proper goals for yourself and work hard to achieve them.”

On the occasion, Dr J K Goyal said, “I extend my best wishes to all of you, who are all set to enter the professional world. We have a lot of expectation from each one of you. Your good work will bring good will to our institution. Here in JIMS, our emphasis has always been on sharpening your skills with education for employment. Always remember that the secret to success lies within each one of us, we just need to explore it. It is your constant effort that will lift you to new heights.”
