ICFJ to start journalism programmes from August

Non-profit group International Center for Journalists will start a 10-month long journalism programme in India from August 16.

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) has tied up with leading education provider Greycells Education for offering these certificate programmes for print and broadcast journalism.

US-based ICFJ, a non-profit professional entity, is into promoting quality journalism. It has presence in 60 countries including China.

“We will launch the certificate programmes for print and broadcast journalism on August 16 in New Delhi. Each course will be for a duration of 10 months,” ICFJ’s Vice President (New Initiatives) Sharon Moshavi told.

According to her, Indian media is growing at a fast pace and these programmes would help in providing a global perspective to journalism education.

“In the next two years, we hope to expand our presence in the country.
